[Switch] Rubber Bandits $4.49 @ Nintendo eShop

150

My son has been pestering me to get it, and we made a deal that I would do so when it is next discounted. Unfortunately nowhere near the cheapest ever, but gotta keep my word, and some discount is better than none…I guess…hands in Ozbargain card

    …got a horse outside.

  • I paid $2.99 in Feb. (Has been cheaper again since.)
But well worth it. The kids love it.

Works for me on a desktop?

        • Doesn't work on incognito either.

          • @teacherer: That's so weird…works for my on my PC desktop with Chrome, and Safari on my iPhone…

        • Are you actually buying it though?

The site works fine until you try to buy the game.

@DingoBlue: Huh, you are right…no issues when buying it directly from the console, so not sure what's happening there…

This is solid (especially for a few bucks) and supports online play, but Boomerang Fu is a better game (sadly is couch coop online, but that suits my kids!)

  • We had to ban the playing of this game in combination with alcohol as it was getting out of hand.

  • hows the single player mode?

  • Does anyone know if its good fun for kids(4 year old)?

I play with my eight year old. It gets shouty and sweary. You basically pick up pieces of debris in the environment and try and hit the other players with it. Quite a lot of modes to keep things fresh.

Items randomly drop and some are quite OP, so its the luck of the draw as to what you pick up. its quite looney tunes in that respect, you can be chasing someone with a baseball bat and then suddenly a flamethrower falls in their hands and they suddenly turn around and start chasing you.

My go to couch games are this, Runbow, Boomerang Fu as someone suggested above, and maybe the Overcooked games.

Thank you @cannedhams. I ended up getting it and had around 20 minutes fun with the little one.

Appreciate the lists of other games I need to get.
