      Beard oil/balm helps with keeping your beard soft as well as able to shape it to your liking, but the main benefit I find is preventing 'beardruff' or dandruff for your beard.

    Serious question. I've had a beard for years, struggled with dry beard. Tried some beard oil before, but felt it just left an oily coating on my beard without actually hydrating it. Oil would come off on the neck of my shirts etc which is annoying. Am I missing something?
    Currently I wash and condition every 2-3 days and use Mrs leave in conditioner every morning. But still suffer from dry bears hair.

    Is the wahl stuff worth it?

      Sounds like you might be using way too much oil. You don't really need much at all, two drops, maybe three, and make sure you really rub it in. Beard balm is a good shout too if you wanted to give that a try.
