Sorry you won’t be able to enjoy your high definition hotspots.

They called high resolution at 256x192, maybe add a 0 to the dimension 2560x1920.

That is high resolution for infrared.

Been wanting to get my hands on thermal cam for a while, the price doesn't justify the couple of times that I would use it. The one at kennards costs $134 for 4 hours hire, and this has much higher res too.
    Good deal!

For the price this one is a pretty good buy, especially compared to a point and shoot gun in the traditional form factor. As a mid way, for around $100 you can get a self contained module that will give you 32 x 32 resolution, which with a little more patience is fine - you just need to find spots and just then move closer to that point to get more detail on that section (talking about using it for checking thermal coverage in the house)

      • Would love to work out how to do this

You can borrow FLIR cameras from most local councils for free. I borrowed one from my council for 1 week for free.

How did you go about it?
Edit: Part of the library system!

      • Thanks got the same price

      • Thanks

  • Man I really want to know if this TC001 for android/windows would work with iPhone if I used a usb-c to lightning converter.

They have TC002 for iOS but I want to share this camera across mobile platforms. The app for tc002 is TopInfrared on the App Store. https://m.topdon.com/diagnostic_detail.html?name=TC002

    So tempted to try it

After some research, it seems like it wouldn’t work even with an adaptor, or with an iPad with usb-c port.

Can’t see much on the market that works with both, would be grateful for any recommendations

  • I bought one, seems to work. Not sure what use I have for it though! Maybe to look for insulation leaks in my house? Any other suggestions?
