It's a beast - one of the best speakers IMHO.

You can get White delivered (at least in Sydney) tomorrow (Father's Day) so that might help placate the wife about this impulsive buy :D

  The fact is you "can" buy a real Marshall combo 50w amp for just under $500 and a solid state Marshal gold cabinet for just under $600 - that would blow this item away. This is really a look at me for non-musicians or air guitarists who think they know what is what. A little like the showoff people who buy a ferrari keyring when they have never riden or owned a ferrari… I could go on.

  Why is listening to mono all the rage these days… seems a real step back and certainly muffles the intended recordings. I'm old and a drummer, by the way marshall was a drummer.

    Maybe I’m just the lame poser you identify, because I think it’s a cool product design—but there’s no way I’d pay that for a speaker without airplay 2 or some kind of multi room functionality.
