    • I got the 70 piece set 10 years ago.

I just do light household DIY stuff but have used the set hundreds of times. There's a bit for every occasion.

Never had any problems with performance or quality.

  • which set is good for drilling holes into tiles

    • +5

Sound like you’d need a tile drilling set…

Seriously though, you could try the masonry drill bits, but tungsten-tipped, carbide-tipped or diamond-tipped drill bits would be your best bet given the shattering nature of ceramic tiles. You’ll pay a bit more, but destroy a whole head less tiles in the process…

which set is good for drilling holes into tiles

Behind the tiles there is concrete and even steel so I suggest a multipurpose drill bit without using the hammer:

      https://www.bosch-pt.com.au/au/en/expert-cyl-9-multiconstruc…

      • I prefer to use a good tile bit and then switch to the appropriate bit for whatever the substrate is (concrete, timber, steel etc). You often don't need the same size hole in your substrate either.

  • Hope this can fit with Ryobi too.

    • They can.

If you are asking this then maybe drilling is not for you.

Unfortunately Bosch drill bit only fit the Ryobi drop saw

    oos by the looks

  • Its 59$ for me. Can’t find the 30% off?

  • Anyone recommend a good trade quality set?

sutton is nice and probably available at bunnings. this set will be pretty garbage

  • what is the difference between x-line and v-line? 91pc set is v-line and others are x-line ?

    • +5

Don’t go down that rabbit hole - you’ll never return.

I’ve got the 91 piece V-line and the 70 piece X-line. Neither in online reviews nor in real world usage have I been able to find any discernible difference, despite looking everywhere for an explanation over many months.

Both function fine as good quality & value DIY bits.

        thanks :)

If you intend to do more than just drill a few holes occasionally, better to invest in quality. Nothing worse than drill bits snapping and having to do an emergency Bunnings run to replace one bit.

Waiting for Dewalt stuff to go on sale on Amazon…

It doesn’t come with the drill 😩
