  • Jetstar CEO Job description: must be ready to apologise for poor performance. https://www.travelweekly.com.au/article/jetstar-ceo-issues-y…

She needs to benchmark vs other gold standard global budget airlines (including JS Japan) instead of comparing with low standard. Hopefully they've truly learnt and start rebuilding trust. Will be watching for a few more months if things improve before going back

Surely, somewhere in Jetstar operational manual they must have drawn inspiration from the final verse of Hotel California

"Last thing I remember, I was
    Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
"Relax, " said the night man
    "We are programmed to receive
You can check-out any time you like
    But you can never leave!"
