Seems expensive and no mention of battery health.

These should be $350-400 tops at this point

      $199

        Nah that's more XR/X price

    • For a new one, this is Refurb, so even less

  • This will be the reference price. They'll discount it later

If people have iPhone then probably just want to port apps across and keep using …. don't think they are looking for advice to move to android if they are shopping for iPhone …

      • Pixel is useless spyphone

  • +3

That’s too much. $249 will be a sweet spot.

  • What is the discount?

It's interesting how - at the moment - for iPhone 11 and higher there seem to be few 'reliable' deals under $500.
Bought an XR via Coles/Boost for $279 last year, 89% battery health so very happy with that.
Now those are also a lot more expensive as well.
Boost have refurbished iPhone 11 from $569 with new battery… not a deal, but a decent price I guess, with the peace of mind of having a new battery:

You can buy a NEW iPhone 11 with two years new warranty for $667

    https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/c/technology…

    Still works well actually

  • But look at the colours

  • Important to note, no 5G

    • +1

what's the use case for 5G anyway? youtube isn't exactly stressing my 4G connection

If you plan on keeping phone for a few years 3G getting turned off so only 4G would work

        • What's that got to do with 5G?

          • @NoshTwin: It’s a 4 year old phone that will only work with one band. I would go for a 12, at least you will get more time out of it

            • @kev98: 4G is not a “band”, I don’t think this a real problem

              • @NoshTwin: lol whatever dude. It’s an overpriced 4 year old phone that can only utilise “4G bands” once 3G is turned off. The 8 upvotes really show what a cracking deal this is.

      • Fast internet browsing. Downloading stuff on the fly etc…I'm on 5G now and when it drops to 4G, wow, the lag.

I brought one of those from Coles Best Buy for 499
    LAST YEAR!

This price should be 11 pro 256gb.

i just upgraded to 15 pro max (still on the way), i want to sell my 256gb iphone 11, id let it go for 500. do you think ebay is the way?

  • ankoPhone

  • Bloody hell, got a 12 mini at the start of the year for less than this.

    • That from the amaysim deal? That was a bargain

I just picked up a refurbished 128gb 12 mini for $470 from one of the ebay 20% sales. I was skeptical, but it's practically new with 100% battery so I'm pretty happy with it.

LOL, $500 should get you a decent Android phone, let alone 64Gb. Apple fans don't seem to notice there are other phones exist.

  • +3

these type of deals always get Android fanboys lurking

    go opensource bro, bye

ask them what they do with this open source to see the blank look of a blond

  • id sell my 256gb iphone 11 (always kept in case) for 500

  • I wouldn't be caught dead without the latest iphone release, what would people think of my social status?
