I noticed the Dainton is BEST BEFORE : 18/10/2023, but it is clearly highlighted so buyers should be aware.

Insert joke about non-alcoholic beer being best before it was created.

      • Haha. We hear you @GG57! (but we still thought it was a good deal)

Non alcoholic beer sales growing almost 10% per year. It's a $300m industry just in Australia at this stage. Clearly some people like to drink it (myself included)

  • Thanks - just ordered so of the non-alc. Even if its a few months past BB date, its great to have a cold non-alc option in the fridge!

  • I have had some very average non-alcoholic beers whenever I have tried them. Being Tuesday, and trying to do the right thing, I bought a Garage Project Tiny Hazy IPA today.

Surprisingly, it was decent enough considering no alcohol. Had a good flavour profile which was true to some of the bigger Hazy's out there.

Would I drink them all the time, no. But for the odd night when you might want a faux beer, I would go Garage Project again.

What I think is needed though is a better ability to buy smaller volumes. 24 Dainton's could turn out to be a let down or a surprise. It's a lucky dip…..just like buying a full fat craft beer. I've had a few of those that didn't stick the jam in my donut either.
