As someone who works in theatre, I hate you lol.

I hope you return them back at the end of the day though

    • There's stacks of free scrubs in the theatre change rooms. I never need to flog any myself.

    • NSW public hospitals combat this by having the most disgusting scrubs. And worst of all, they only have 1 pocket

I'll be the senior surgeon and you be my trainee who can't say no without ruining your career

    Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeaggggggggggggglllllllllllle

  • Fun fact: They're also known as a busta.

  • Wife is a nurse, and she bought me some scrub pants. They’re just as comfortable as Lululemon ones

Jokes aside, as someone who works in multiple hospitals, when do people actually get to use their own scrubs except outside of the OT? And even then, who buys their own scrubs for use outside the OT?

The only time I see people wearing their own scrubs seems to be at medical centres, and even then that seems to have only started in the last 3 years

    • they're more comfy than clinical attire

    • I refuse to believe this written by ‘someone who works in multiple hospitals’. Interns/residents/regs and even consultants have made them regular attire.

This is for Surg/ED most obviously but often ObsGyn, Med, even in Acute Psych.

Personally I prefer buying good quality pants and occasionally wear a scrub topor a business shirt

      • Perhaps it's state based, and perhaps out of the OT. But I certainly dont see it often, except for the Trauma guys in black. But then im theatre based, so its consistently the same scrubs except for the occasional theatre receptionist in her own pink scrubs.
