    Ridiculous pricing all around!!

Cmon, it’s an annual event, and vendors need to be hyperphagic. Not different to ski resorts or cinema (nowadays).

      • +3

Vendors travel around the whole of Australia to to all the different events, fairs, shows in various cities and towns. They are making money the whole year, much more than the average earned on ozbargain and whirlpool.

  • 31/09 !! Is that in Mars

Rides start at 9.30 what a joke

Even when it's a bargain it's still robbery.

  • If you drop your phone under the ride you can climb the barricade and go on it for 100% off

I went on Thursday. Daylight robbery. Every vendor and ride charges you an extra 1.3% handling fee just for paying by card! Good thing we took lots of cash. They looked mad when I went to use it though. Not to mention most rides start at $12. Per Person. The Ferris wheel was also very disappointing this year. The show has changed a lot and most definitely for the worst.

Who actuality still goes to this overpriced event?

    • Apparently lots and lots of people judging by the crowds and the fact that they run it every year and can charge crazy prices but people still pay

  • i remember you had to go on a huge line…. to line up to collect your online pre-ordered tickets.

Not going to neg but you are far better off going to a permanent theme/amusement park where you pay one price and get as many rides as you want for the whole day, with queue lengths being the only important variable.
