A man who never eats pork bun is never a whole man! - great game get on it.

    • So true brother so true

    • Had to go buy some pork buns after playing this. Hate/love that guy.

  • Excellent game

I have to admit that I haven't played the game yet, but it is something I intend to do. So far I have just used it for benchmarking GPUs (along with about 12 other games). The benchmark is accessed and launched through the video card setup options, rather than via a separate program such as the Metro games do.

If you don't own the game, purchasing it at this price is a no brainer. You don't need to pir8 games when they are so cheap.

I have just used it to practice swearing in cantonese.

      • Hokkien is much more satisfying.

My virtual holiday on the cheap, this game, pork bun snacks, amateur Chinese cooking for dinner with a Hong Kong action flick.

Ah, Hong Kong GTA. Loads of good memories with this game.

  • Work on Deck?

    • Ye

    • I started it recently on my Deck, runs great and is a good game.

      • Thanks everyone!

Now I wish Stranglehold was available

One of the best games ever. It has held up fantastically over time. 100% recommended

It’s too bad the driving mechanics suck so bad in this game.

    • +1

Yeah that's one of the (very few) weaknesses of the game imo. Always felt a bit clunky, works fine to get you from A to B but not like GTA where you'd be happy to just cruise around the city with no particular goal in mind because the driving mechanics just feel so much better.

Which is a shame, because the radio soundtrack is killer.

I have a Daptone Radio playlist on repeat on my Spotify acc; so good

  • Tried to replay it recently, but simply couldnt get it to run on my modern pc.

    • That's weird, I can run the OG 2012 version (non-definitive) on my Windows laptop just fine. Did you install all the necessary pre-redists? Try verifying the game files through Steam?

"Holy crap I need to jump on this deal*

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is already in your Steam library

    lol

Great game; one of Lucy Liu's and Emma Stone's finest performances. Best played with a pork bun.

  • Heck yeah. Exciting to play this on the steam deck

  • +1

Fantastic game - both story and gameplay. Finished this a while back.

  • Finally bought this, who knows when I'll get around to playing it…

  • What does it mean that there's no cloud save? One of the reviews mentions it

  • Purchased this die to the price and recommendations

    Been pretty happy with it

Definitely ps3 era but i like how much fluff seems to be cut out of it compared to other open world games.. no need to spend 10mins driving somewhere, its like the game actually respect my time and wants me to have "fun" not just buy a microtransactions
