Really low price on this 1TB SSD that previously sold for $78.80 last year and one of the cheapest you can get in this size. This is a Gen3 SSD with 3200 MB/s seq. read and 2000 MB/s seq. write - it's not PS5 compatible.

While this SSD is QLC, it does include DRAM cache and pSLC cache at 250GB. Once this is full the write will complete at around 150 MB/s temporarily, so best to avoid doing large intensive writes if you can. Otherwise it's fine for game storage, fast reads, OS drive or even as a portable SSD with an enclosure.

  • 1TB, QLC, Gen3.. $59 is the going price!!.. i paid around this for a 980 pro 1TB Gen4

    • The DRAM is important, a lot of the really cheap SSDs in this price range do not include DRAM caches. And that the QLC is top tier stuff.

    • Most orders were cancelled

    • +1

Yes that was a price error. Otherwise we'd be seeing a lot more Samsung SSD deals at that price ;) Plus the UK/US deals are often always cheaper than local stock.

Congrats to the few who managed to have their order fulfilled - there was a lot of cancellations.

      • If you read the comments you would know it was not a pricing error.. it was a UK only promo that they later allowed for Aussie shoppers…

Early orders got canceled but once they started to allow the orders they were ok until it sold out

  • Will it be good for replacing the original and use it as main C drive?
