Great. Finally I can use my S3 to possibly get a free burger :)

    •

It keeps freezing on my s3 :-\

pretty sure they've nerfed the 'win' rates for freebies in this app. I've been using it solidly on iphone since it came out, and in the past 2 weeks or so, I've been getting a lot more 50% off vouchers, rather than free whoppers, cheese burgers, soft serves, frozen cokes etc.

    •

How many times can you do it a day?

      • +1 vote

Once per store per 10 hours.

        • +12 votes

Are we still talking about the Shake and Win APP?

    • +1 vote

it's easier if you create a new account.

    •

If you work in the CBD, you can check into about 10 different Hungry Jacks if you stand in-between them.

Once you win something that isn't a lame 2 for 1 or 25% off offer, you can take it to any Hungry Jacks store!

Hmmm…. so what if you are like me, and don't have Facebook? No free stuff… :(

    • +6 votes

This is exactly why free is not free, you are the product.

    • +3 votes

Yeah, why does it need a Facebook? The app should be enough..

      •

Its part of their business expenditure to market their franchise. A lot of people use facebook these days so you are basically advertising their franchise lol

        •

          It is a sad situation

        •

You can opt not to actually publish anything, just don't give it permissions.

    • +3 votes

That's where a fake FB account comes in handy.

Please put Hungry Jacks in the title

16MB download. Not so great for phones with limited storage.

    • +16 votes

16MB for a random number generator? Boy, programming has gotten worse than I thought.

Can't be stored on SD - so I now have a choice of HJ app or games, not both! (Huawei IDEOS X3)
      Not happy!

      • +1 vote

Do you have root access on your phone? Link2SD does wonders for your internal storage!

  • +3 votes

You can use the Store Locator to check-in to different stores, that way you have a higher chance of winning a Whopper.

HJ seems to be giving away a lot of freebies lately.

  • +2 votes

just as I start getting ready for beach season…

  • +5 votes

Dunno if everyone is as noobie as me, but looking this up on the playstore (Galaxy S2) I had to find it as "Hungry Jack's Makes it Better".

  • +6 votes

Use "Fake GPS" app if you want to check in at your local HJ store to see what prize you will win without having to go there first.

    • +1 vote

Fake GPS is perfect because it gives you 20min to grab the deal - just got a breakfastbacon mcmuffin offer as 2pm?? They stop making them at 11am so not sure what would happen there

      • +15 votes

HJ are giving out McMuffins now?

        • +2 votes

They either stole them from maccas or some guy/girl is working in the wrong kitchen (unbeknownst to them).

        • +1 vote

my bad they are call bacon and egg muffins but they are the same thing as maccas

        • -6 votes

they are the same thing as maccas

they're not the same, the bacon at HJ is flame grilled.

        • +5 votes

Nope. HJ bacon is nuked. Microwave FTW!

        •

          Nope.

        • +2 votes

I get my coffee at HJs in the morning (closest place) and hear at least 40% of people ask for a [insert muffin type] McMuffin.

    • +2 votes

You can check into any store and walk up to another store btw, the voucher doesn't show the store anywhere.

So use Fake GPS to check into stores all over Sydney until you get your whopper, and walk into the store you're next to.

  •

Is there a way to use this without a Face Book log in ?

    •

no way to avoid it as far as i know

      • +3 votes

cant you just make it that the check in is viewable only by you? its in the app settings

    • +3 votes

just create a fake facebook account so your friends won't know why you are putting on so much weight.

Maybe call the account Ronald McDonald and see if you still get free Whoppers ?

      •

I just declined the access rights of the Hungry Jacks mobile app to post on my behalf, then it flicked to the shake screen. Doesn't look like it posted on facebook. No one will know my dirty fast food secret! Except the people who can see my waist line :(

  •

    I think I feel a song comin' on…Shake, shake, shake…

  •

    hippy hippy shakes

  • +1 vote

use screen capture when you get a good deal, show that image without zooming( :) ) in the store… they will not be checking your mobile… that way you can re use the deal :)

    •

      nice trick!

      •

don't forget to hide the time.

    • +4 votes

but not honest! you can get anything for free, un-legitly…

      • +2 votes

illegally was the word here? or unethically?

    • +1 vote

Sometimes they insist on pressing the done button for you, or ask you to show them pressing it.

    • +1 vote

the girl at Cannington WA store always asks me to tap "redeem now" when I showed then she will give me the free whopper, not all of them are the same …

  •

    awesome thanks OP

    blah blah blah…

    This is a bargain.

  •

i live around the corner from hj and it says no store but store locator locates it

I should have been more clear.

The images aren't a full voucher, just the parts which make up the winning tickets. Still need to compile them together. Perhaps with a countdown timer.
