We are looking for alternatives to get e-gift cards with a discount.
We've found Sconto – https://sconto.com.au/product-category/gift-cards/
Coles – 2% (although it looks like 1.5% to us – $100 down to $98.50)
Woolworths – 4%
Caltex – 3%
Big W – 5%
Has anyone used Sconto before? Or know of a better alternative?

No, we came across that site and wanted to know if it was legit!
And even created a new account here, a site with numerous discussions and a wiki about discounted gift cards, just to post about the only site you could find offering discounted gift cards.

That link only talks about the change to the Woolworths Money app effective 06 November 2023, where you can no longer add gift cards and Everyday Rewards cards to it.
From 06 November 2023, to add a Woolworths Group gift card to an app on your mobile so you can manually redeem it at a redemption business, you will either need to use the Everyday Rewards app or a third-party app (e.g. Stocard).
On the Everyday Rewards app, you can still buy gift cards, but they would not have the RAA discount that we have been getting with the e-gift cards we have been buying via the Woolworths Money app.
You cannot buy Woolworths Group gift cards through the Woolworths Money app. You can only add Woolworths Group gift cards you have already purchased elsewhere to the Woolworths Money app. I just went into the Woolworths Money app and I cannot find a way to purchase a Woolworths Group gift card without going to the Woolworths Group gift card portal on a separate web browser.
Can you please explain to me how I can purchase a Woolworths Group gift card at a discount from RAA through the Woolworths Money app?
I also was talking to someone on the Everyday Rewards site via chat and they informed me that there will no longer be any discount on the Woolworths or Big W gift cards as of the 6th November.
That is very interesting, as that is the first time I have heard that.
I would have thought that RAA (and presumably other automotive clubs) would have said something publicly by now about these supposed changes, as that is a big deal. I mean, when automotive clubs and a number of gift card portals stopped selling WISH gift cards at a 5% discount in late 2020, there was a big song and dance made about that a number of weeks before the changes went through.
I decided to phone RAA yesterday, as after reading your post, I thought I would go straight to the main source :)
I was told that RAA will still be offering the discounts and that I just have to make sure I purchase the gift cards via the RAA website and to add them to my Everyday Rewards app, not the Woolworths Money app.
It worked a treat!
We are so happy as now we don't have to look anymore for gift card discounts online, as some of those sites look really dodgy!

Have you looked at the OzBargain wiki for discounted gift cards to see a list of portals you may already be able to access?
