Considering how many OzBargainers failed to read the dimensions last time it’s probably worth mentioning that this is a tiny keyring knife.

Technically illegal to carry in some states

    • How so? The knife blade is way too short to be illegal.

      • I carry one on my key ring and was forced to surrender it at Melbourne airport at the security checkpoint

        • I was also forced to surrender it at the Sydney airport too :/

carrying around and taking on a plane are 2 very different things though 😅

          • +4

@Benjamin7711: Right? A bottle of whisky isn't illegal but they don't let you carry them onto bloody planes, do they?

And the idiots vote me down …

            • @Grazz989: I always take a few of the small 50ml plastic bottles filled with Vodka and just buy a small orange juice. Saves being ripped of for $12 to buy one small vodka on the plane

              • @Ocker: Is it still like, a 500ml liquid allowance? And can it even be an alcoholic beverage these days?

I hope you're not buying those bottles and then throwing them away. I bought a bunch of plastic sample jars, fill them up with prebatched cocktails (it's almost as cheap to drink something nice you mixed up than simple vodka), and then hand them to mates at parties or before going to events or whatever. They're cheap enough to be disposable, but they come in whatever sizes you want and are watertight.

yeah not a fan of thes premaded I actually went to switzerland and had a custom order made up got to choose what I wanted in the knife and also engravings.

I don't think I would ever trust ordering these things online.

    • +15

Right- I'll just book the next flight to Switzerland to make a custom pocket knife /s

    • +1

It's shipped & sold via Amazon JP, not some no-named / random pop up store listed on social media though, what's there not to trust?

      • -3

you don't know where it was made.,

        • 98% ingredients are from Swiss alp & 2% are from Xinjiang camps.

          /$

        • He ain't wrong though, you don't want the nail filer to fail on you in a self-defense situation.

    • Do you know whether custom orders can be made remotely?

    • What gives you reason to distrust ordering one online?

These things are bloody great. Quite small and compact for your keychain, and comes in handy ALL THE TIME. Opening up packaging, cutting loose threads, makeshift flathead screwdriver, prying tool, nail clippers, whatever man. Right in your pocket at all times. 10/10.

    • +1

the file is actually pretty good too. I've used it for shaping things, and tidying up broken nails

  • My Mrs lost her green one of these - I pulled the trigger anyway for a replacement at $36.95 - that's still an honest price

  • Nice find OP, if I knew it was the keyring size I would've jumped on it. Always wanted one..

  • Out of stock, damn missed out

These are on eBay from $32.90 if anyone missed out on $23.81:

    • How are you getting $23.81?

      • *If you missed the Amazon $23.81

        • +1

Aha! Yeah I was speed reading :D

  • I like these small knifes and have one on my keying. Its come in handy may times. Especially when I was a tech and I didn't have a screwdriver on me.

    I do fine the plastic eventfully cracks due the it pressing against the keys and such. For this reason I suggest the alloy one;
    https://www.victorinox.com/global/en/Products/Swiss-Army-Kni…
(wait for a deal of course)

Downside is no tweezers and no toothpick. Upside - lasts pretty much forever.

    • If the sides crack, just super glue them back together. Worth the savings.
