You can definitely find cheaper fares to Shangahi with stops, but if you need to (or prefer to) get there as quick as possible, this is a solid deal on Qantas.
Loads of dates, in November 2023 and then from February 2024 through to July 2024.
All flights are return and nonstop, and include bags, food, etc.
Normal prices for direct full service flights on this route are around $1500.

    A friend flew back to Shanghai literally two days ago. She chose Air eastern China 🇨🇳 $1170 return.

      China Eastern. Personally, I don't rate them as a very good airline. If the normal price is more like ~$1200, I apologise - around $1500 was the price I was seeing. $879 is still a bargain in either case for full service direct :)

        China Eastern are horrible, definitely worth the money to fly Qantas or a better airline.

      Not on Qantas, but there are fares around $650 with one stop on China Southern
