  HY300 is the OEM model of this projector and typically goes for US$52ish (~A$82) at AliExpress. Despite what they advertise it's not true 4K but actually 720p HD natively.

    All (cheap) projectors seem to do that. Not sure how it started, I suppose originally, without any ability to downscale, they wouldn't even display a 4K video at all?

      I'd be very sceptical about the rest of the specs too, i.e. ANSI lumens. When it comes to cheap projectors this spreadsheet is recommended

          @XeKToReX: I don't follow the projector space too much. There is the ViewSonic M1+ released a couple of years ago which is about $550, powered via USB-C and has pretty good quality for a pocket projector. All the really good ones from LG and other big brands are $1000+
