Free $10 Bucks at Royal Melbourne Show from Commonwealth Bank!

180

Went to the Royal Melbourne Show and came across the Commonwealth Bank stall at the Woolworths Fresh Food Pavillion. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that by simply having the "Kerching" application on iphone or android, the attendants upon seeing the app, will send you a $10 payment to your CBA bank account for free. If you dont have the app, download it there, show the attendant and they will send you a payment code for $10 bucks through "Kerching".

My mate went to the stall a couple of times across different days and found that the payment code can be sent multiple times (ie. you can keep going there and getting the attendant to send you another unique code for a $10 payment), he managed to rort the system and score $30 bucks. all for nothing. a good way to score some free cash to spend on showbags or overpriced rides and/or daggy dogs.

'kerching' sounds better. plus it is meant to represent the sound of a cash register opening signifying the inflow of cash. ingenious idea from commonwealth bank

    "My Mate"… cough, cough.

  • Hope your mate is working at the show, as tix to get in everyday is not cheap

  • Can $10 only be obtained from Commonwealth Bank stall at the Woolworths Fresh Food Pavillion? Can $10 be obtained from other Commonwealth branch?

  • I wonder ifthey will be doing this at the Perth Royal Show, which starts tomorrow. I don't have an account with them, but maybe we could all keep an eye out for it.

  • This is only available at the Kaching stands as they pop up at the various shows around Australia.

  • Wonder if you can get more than once a day, as I have 2 android phones connected to the same account.

    • you probably could, try it. my brother got sent two messages from two different attendants on the same day to the same mobile number. easiest $20 bucks he ever made.
