    Depends on your spending habits??

  • +2

Yes - you will get back your money pretty quickly. The savings far outweigh the cost

  • +3

If you shop at woolies, then yes. One large staples shop a month easily pays it off.

  • Just use woolworth mobile.

imagine actually paying for this shit??

    • +3

Do you mean paying money to save quite a bit more money?

      • -3

you wanna save the most money….? dont bother shopping at woolies/coles!

        • Another Aldi shopper…they really should form a gang. Get tired of hearing how great they are 🤣

@Puglife: No point shopping at Aldi if you can't rub it in the faces of Coles/Woolworths customers

          • @Puglife: As much as I don't like Colesworth, Aldi is not the answer..

            • @iDroid: Its a shame Kaufland pulled out of Aus, unlike Aldi they were a real competitor that would have shaken up Colesworth.

The return of the 10% online from 01 Nov 23 makes it worth my while.

Glad to hear they came to their senses. I dropped my phone plan and started shopping a lot more at Aldi when they did that, apparently I wasn’t alone.

    • Didn't know that. Thanks.

    • What makes you think that?

I just tried it but didn’t work and all pages I could find regarding the 10% offer still state “in-store”

Spreadsheet your current shopping habits and work out how it would work with the discount.

If your aim is to save money, you may be better looking at alternatives - eg: Aldi, fruit shops. I personally find fruit and vegetables from the local fruit shop lasts better than what comes from the supermarket and is often cheaper.

I stack it with 4% Woolworth discount cards. I add the gift cards to the 'wallet' on the app. Essentially it's 14% each shop. I mainly buy home brand now, so they never have sales on those items. I do one big monthly shop now. Plus, you also get 10% off at Big W. You can add Big W gift cards to the 'wallet' also. I think the Big W gift cards are 5% off.

    • Thank you for your info. Where do you purchase/get the 4% Woolworths discount cards please?

  • -1

    Yes and yes.

  • It'll depend on your shopping habits and whether you're in a family/single Etc.

I tend to want products at both Coles and woolworths so split my shops between the two, and often will go multiple times a week rather than do a single big shop. So for me I haven't really found it worthwhile.

  • For my family yes. But we shop at Woolworths majority of the time. We prefer the local woolies and they stock a few items we buy regularly that Coles don’t stock.
As long as you do a big shop once a month and use the 10% off you should come out ahead.

  • Do you know if the 10% off is separate to the mobile/pet insurance one?

    • +3

It's in the FAQs. It is separate but you can't use them both in the same transaction.

      • Oh i didn't think to check there, thanks very much

  • I'm reconsidering joining Everyday Extra now that the 10% off is valid for online purchases again.

I reckon its worth the $7 a month when I only really shop at woolies, so In 3 months ($21 cost) i have saved $105 by using 10% off, scored 4604 bonus points ($20 off next shops) plus a free cottees jam and a free ice magic from the perks.

  • I just signed up for the free trial 14 November - 14 December.
Re: 10% off 1 shop per month - Does that mean that I can get 2 during my free trial period. IE. 1 before the end of November, and another 1 - 14 December?

    • +1

Each month has it's own 10% off code, so yes. I was able to use both codes when I did a free month.
