$7 less than what I paid around 3 weeks ago. Great phone, can recommend.

How good is it for gaming?

      • +2

Haven't really tried anything, I threw Simpsons Road Rage for GameCube at it on the default Dolphin emulator with all normal settings, no tweaking or anything, and it ran flawlessly, so that's far from an extensive test, but playing PS2 era games is pretty (profanity) cool to me for the 240 I paid.

No idea, only using it for light stuff i.e. watching videos etc. It's pretty responsive, no complaints there.

        • How is the Battery life?

  • Very tempting

    mtk

i would rather they have staying with snapdragon

    • mediatek is powerful as hell.

The last years most powerful mobile chipset is the dimensity 9200+
The current most powerful mobile chipset is the dimensity 9300
More powerful than the latest 1 month old Snapdragon 8 gen 3 and apple's A17 Pro

        mediatek is powerful as hell.

Well not this mediatek. So theres that.

        • +1

this one about 10% better than the snapdragon 695. which goes for $30 more

        • What do you mean it's not MediaTek?

It runs a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC.

It's a decent phone for the money.

      • If the SoC was important to you within this budget then you would look at what phones used within this price point and compare those. Is the MTK in this better than the Qualcomm chips used in similar price phones?

  • Wasn't it $239 recently?

    • +1

Yes, at Lenovo edu but back up to 269.10 now

  • Any good covers for this phone?

  • $299 at Big W for both Midnight and Indigo Blue. No NFC was indicated. Does it have any?

    • Yup tapped for my coffee this morning. Quite pleased with how much phone you can get for this price.

No notification led, no fast charging though, just the two things I'm noticing I miss.

And the SD card expansion only works as portable storage, so you can't install the apps to it. Source: experience and Motorola Support

It's a snappy phone, vibrant screen, loud speakers and light weight. Bought for a family member, was impressed by it.

  • Nice phone. Get it from Lenovo Edu store for 239$ with free shipping for my son. 299$ is still a good price. Though it is probably better to wait for Bkack Friday or XMas sale

tempted to buy - " 50MP camera system with OIS" - comparable to apples ?

    • +1

Any recommendations for a Good Case/ Cover , Thanks

  • Is this dual sim?

  • Better than Moto g62?

  • that's odd, i've got ebay plus and the code won't work, I've only got a code "PLUSNOVA" which only take about $15 off.

    • I got DASO20 brings it down to $236 lol. I don't needs the phone though
