    For free or nothing

  • +19

Not nearly as good as their Black Wednesday.

    • +7

      Blackout* Wednesday.

  • Bracing for the comments

Also because its Optus, although my deal was valid - the mods took it down as it was a "joke post" because its Optus… and they havent got around to answering my talk to mods request in a few days :( …. so get ready for that.

    • I mean to be fair, Optus are a bit of a joke from top to bottom…

  • +4

they are making fun of all consumer by offering 55% discount on 28 day plans (not even 30 days)…. 😂

  • +3

12 hour outage for 200gig free!

totally worth it! what a deal

  • +2

Ill join if they pay me,.. 🤪

  • +1

    YEAH, NAHHHHH

  • +3

Their best 365 day plan costs $240. Definitely not good enough for me to stay in the Optus network.

Boost is $250 for 260GB 365 days, which is a much better deal considering the black Wednesday last week.

    • +13

Optus’ is actually a 364 day plan.

      • +1

        🤣 very good.

      • +3

If we knew which day is not covered, that'd make life easier. I don't like surprises.

    • Yep, for 20c/week more it's not even a thought bubble.. I suppose if you're one of the few where Optus coverage is better. Even when coverage is similar I find the data throughput isn't anywhere near as good.

    • And https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/810414 is available now

My work number is Telstra so it'd be reasonable and logical for my personal number to be something else now that I'm using the same phone for both.

I do like Amaysim but black Wednesday was really bad so I will just duplicate Telstra.

'Vodafone has very poor coverage near home.

I prefer my network to work when I need it to. So for those reasons, I’m out.

    • +1

So for those reasons, I’m out.

Saying it like a true Shark Tank 😂

  • +2

everyone with optus must ported out, to give them (and other provider) lesson/punishment, because ovbiously they get none from the goverment
otherwise all the providers will not taking the security and stability seriously.

  • Is Aldi superior?

    • +1

yes if you dont need 5G

      • Isn't Aldi just MVNO of Telstra, aka same coverage?

        • I believe they don't have same access as Telstra/Boost.

  • +3

Did someone dare you to post this?

  • +2

    Computer says no

    • my phone pop up message saying i will shutdow if put floptus sim inside me

  • Do you actually get unlimited data on a new sim until end of the year? Or is it only existing sims?

If so, $15 actually isn't bad for a laptop sim or similar for a month or two of unlimited data.

    • It looks like, they haven’t said it’s for people before the outage. Let’s see what happens this weekend

  • +1

At this point Optus would have to pay me to risk using their service

I just came here for the comments 🍿😎

  • Ordered on the 20/11/23 - express posted, meant to be delivered on 22/11/23.
Still hasn't arrived yet and tracking shows it's "still waiting to be processed".
I don't have a need for this SIM card anymore - planning to get a refund.
