Philips Oneblade 360 Face & Body Pro With Travel Pouch QP6551/15 $119.20 Delivered @ Shaver Shop eBay

120
BFDEAL

Seems like a great price. Currently $129 at Amazon and JB Hi-Fi

Regular price $179. Appears to be a 360 blade version of QP6550/15 but it's unclear what improvements (if any) are - doing a comparison on Philips website shows same specs.

120min battery life, waterproof and LCD screen. Haven't used one myself but reviews on Ozbargain from past deals seem favourable. Appears compact for traveling. Heaps of accessories on AliExpress and Amazon for these: cases, nose trimmers, blades.

Replacement head options:
- QP210, QP220, QP230
- QP610, QP620, QP410, QP420, QP430

Appears to be newer version of QP6550/15 but it's unclear what improvements (if any) are - doing a comparison on Philips website shows same specs.

Appears to be the rotatable head.

    • Looks like it may come with 2 blades also

I think they both come with 2 blade, product image has them switched around.

      • Both definitely come with 2 blades. RichardL's point is interesting based on one of the photos - I haven't noticed it before.

I bought one last deal that came up, very happy with it, been about 3 months and the original blade is still going strong. This is the closest shave I can get without using an actual razor and it does everything. A few people gave it knocks for not giving a clean shave but although this imitates the look of a razor it is not a razor so don't expect a clean shave out of it. I highly recommend it, its been a long time searching for something that suits me and this fit perfectly in the requirements.

Yeah I'd say it gives 80% of the closeness of a razor shave if you use shaving gel.

More than enough for day to day with much less irritation.

      • if using shaving gel then might as well use a razor?

        • I use it in the shower so it's no trouble to lather on some gel.

  • ive got the older version that doesnt swivel, cant see the benifit in it swivelling, just a gimmick i think.

Old model going strong after about 2 years, battery lasts ages. Blades are expensive and if you drop it the blade always breaks, and its always just after you put a new one on! Im now using ebay/chinese knock off blades and they seem to work fine to me, maybe dont stay sharp quite as long but close enough for the price difference.

  • can someone explain how the body kit for this makes any difference than using the regular plastic guard.

at least with the Philips body grooming 3000 it has a foil and little numbs built in that prevent snags.

    • I'm wondering how this goes as a body groomer for those that use it that way.

I've got a Philips BG7025/15 (I think it is), so was wondering how this compares and/or if someone can suggest something better. I don't mind the Philips, but would like to try something different. I thought about the Panasonics, but I read that they shaving head is fragile and breaks

      • to answer my own question, ive read some comments on YouTube where they've said even with the body kit it still nicked them.

also it doesn't provide a close shave when using the body kit unlike when using the foil head on the BG7025/3000 series.

id say for tight skin like arms, legs, face the one blade(without any guard) gets close enough like a razor, but for any loose skin areas id avoid all clipper style cutters and stick with the foil head style from the 7000/3000 series.

Thanks OP, been searching for a solution to keeping a daily 5 O'Clock shadow and this looks to be ticking all the boxes - fingers crossed!
