My job will cover my phone and plan up to $85 per month. Only caveat is they claim they’ll only cover the phone if it’s “non-itemised” in the bill.
Is there a way I can seek out plans that are set out this way? Seems like most split the plan into phone repayment and the plan itself.
Maybe I just need to spend more time on ozb.

Yeah, I think this is the way to go. The $89 per mo + $1100 gift card from JB looks goood when it comes out to $4 a month.

Wait until they have Join Plan and Get a Free Phone promotion (i.e. JB, GG or HN). The phone will be given outright and you just have to commit paying of the choosen plan for 24 months.

Why not ask the person you are dealing with for a suggestion of a provider.
JB/TGG/HN Gift Card offers are what I'm thinking. You can use the gift card towards a phone that is purchased outright using that.
