Chemist Warehouse: 100% Upsized ShopBack Cashback on Two Eligible Items Yesterday

Did anyone see the 100% cashback on Shopback appear yesterday at Chemist Warehouse for like an hour? I'm not going to mention the items as they are not ozbargain approved (I'm not sure if talking about it in this form is still bannable/frowned upon so please remove if that's the case) but I ended up buying 2 items for a total of $54. The cashback was 100% for these items cap at $50. When it tracked it only tracked at like 15c… Not sure whether it was a glitch or not but Shopback was definitely displaying that there was 100% cashback on the items I bought at the time of the transaction.

Should I be entitled to the full $50 cashback through Shopback? By the time their team responds to me online I feel like the return period for the products I bought will be over and I don't want them if they are full price.

Did anyone else experience this? Can someone tag the rep possibly to help?

        OP note that you can't return these items (due to their nature), on CW website when you acknowledge you're over 18:

        "We Do Not Accept any Returns - Due to the nature of the products sold within this section. If the product demonstrates a manufacturers fault, please call one of the below help lines to discuss the possibility of a return. " https://i.imgur.com/so0dd7p.png

        Open them up and use them and then you'll be happier when you deal with SB for the CB.

          Oh whattttt, I thought as long as they stayed in their sealed packaging it would be fine… Hopefully Shopback is able to fix this for me. Can't see how they can advertise something and pull the plug after it's already been confirmed…

    You can raise a dispute with Shopback and see what they say? But they do say it can take up to 7 days to track correctly

    Guessing you didnt take a screenshot of the offer? one thing I learnt from dealing with Shopback is either take a video screen recording or a screenshot of my app transaction page.

    Given the fact you're in Brisbane and most times on these cashback sites are quoted in AEDT, did you do it an hour earlier than advertised or not?

    Best thing you can do is always screenshot the ShopBack page before you click through to purchase.

      definitely did it during its eligible period as it said less than 1 hour remains or something on it. But yes I should of screenshotted but i didn't.

    I'm in the same boat, purchased one of these massage guns during the deal window (got pulled early?) and only got a few cents tracked. Will raise a dispute if needed - @gotyourback help us out, need some positive vibes.

    Hey all, similar to the Beauty upsizes CWH run, this will track at base rate but then be uplifted within 2 weeks of purchasing, so don't panic. You'll get your Cashback, just wait on it to get adjusted shortly.

      Anyone who may be missing their Cashback for this one, we've identified a couple who were missed initially, fixing this up now so Cashback will be uplifted today or tomorrow.

        @gotyourback I figured this one would sort itself out in time, but mine never did. The cashback finally came through and has not corrected, it was 17 cents as opposed to the full price of $26.99. I've tried submitting a dispute via the Sparky virtual assistant, but as soon as I submit the invoice, the chat reverts to Dutch and starts all over again….
