        Sharing ur pack Doritos. Selfless.

          Selfless

          That's my middle name…

    • $2.16 with free shipping, shouldn’t you place an order?

      • -1

        no

  • Yeah i bought two packs last week. I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Damn things take some time to arrive to central QLD. But it's only worth it if you've got Amazon Prime as the shipping could totally kill the deal.

    • probably coming from china

      • +1

No actually it was shipped from Sydney. These Doritos are made in Australia.

It's just right now close to Christmas any thing being shipped interstate is taking ages to arrive.

  • FYI. They ship chips in a padded envelope. Luck of the draw how it arrives..

    • I ordered 3 bags of Kettle chips from Amazon delivered in Boxes

(actually 2 sepperate order, 1 & 2 as I thought within minutes they would pack together,

but got 2 boxes, I felt a bit guilty about that lol )

Worse case, use the Doritos crumbs as an amazing schnitzel coating.

    • Not mine. They shipped 6 packs with a 10pack of pepsi

170g? That’s no share pack lol

Luffy sharing food deals? I guess stranger things have happened.

Ordered a subscription of these from the last heads up and the Amazon packing numpties on both deliveries so far just chucked them in with other items ala cat food and coke cans with no other packing and of course both times the packs burst.

    • Yep. I’ve learned the hard way not to order chips from Amazon. The funny thing is, they’ll use packing paper with all manner of non-squishable deliveries, but seem allergic to adding it when they decide they need to combine different orders of soup or soft drink cans, with chips or Doritos…

  • Does anyone here NOT eat the entire pack in one sitting once opened?

    • I finish the bag about 40% of the time. That leaves quite a few instances where I have leftover chips for the next munching period.

    • +2

I leave a few chips in the bottom, tricks the brain into thinking you can show restraint.

    • -1

I take a week or two to eat a bag, only ever take a handful, then put it straight back in the cupboard out of sight.

  • +1

Carefully selected ingredients, how carefully do they select them?

    • carefully selected… off the warehouse floor

  • My wife gets terribly sick eating these. Found out it's the colouring.

    • +1

      Has she tried makeup?

    • How did you “find that out”?

  • I don't know why but I feel guilty ordering a couple of these through SS, I think it's waste of someone's time… rather including them in my weekly shop at Coles/Woolies

    • I swear, this is an intentional psychological ploy by Amazon. They understand that consumers feel guilty about buying small ticket items with free shipping, so consumers say “I’ll find a few other things to buy to make this delivery worthwhile”

      • Really? You think it's an intentional psychological plot, rather than just their standard shipping product (Prime) offered across practically all goods?

        • Nah I’m being a tad facetious about it being intentional, but I’m sure Amazon is aware of the phenomenon I’m describing

          • @beltdrive: I think they would avoid that wherever possible. That's why small items often have a minimum purchase number above 1.

      • +1

It is a complete waste of resources for someone to deliver you a couple bags of chips from the Amazon warehouse.

    • You should feel bad about buying from Colesworth instead of supporting your local mom and pop Amazon.

    RIP keyboard/mouse/controller

  • Made in Australia from carefully selected ingredients…

Sure! This is like the cheapest unhealthiest chip brand there is. If Kettle or Red Rock wrote this, it'd be a bit more than just straight up BS

    Must resist.

  • even better, go aldi

i believe they are cheaper, $2.20?

    and they are like 230g

    triple cheese mmmmMMMMM

Is it just me or has doritos changed their style, they seem way more thin and crispy with with a different texture. I preferred the old style, it didn't need to be changed.
