    EDIT: Also, nothing happens when I try to apply it to an order (Mass Effect 3). I used the link for the deal, there is 'en-US' in the checkout URL I'm currently on, and there is "Price is in US dollars, and is applicable to U.S. and Canadian residents only" at the bottom of the page, so I'm pretty sure I'm using the American store.

    EDIT 2: Yes I tried adding Crysis Warhead to my cart as well, and the coupon code works then. Problem is I don't want Crysis… haha.

    Apparently before they fixed it, you could add multiple games to cart and apply the code each time and you can get multiple games for free. Ended up just getting FIFA 12.

    Found a trick, after you got your first game, logout, remove the cookies then add the game you want, then apply code, then continue, it'll will tell you to log in, use the login from last time and then do the address thing again, complete purchase and Ta-da another game

        yes it does, you have to clear the cookies, the first time i did it, i didn't remove the cookies and i had to pay $20 but then i removed the cookies and it worked

          you need to check before making assumptions, the survey works for anyone. NOT ip limited. I am not using a proxy and also completed the survey.

      have they done this before? the deleting of the games part? I still have a few origin accounts with all 10 of the free games from the last time they stuffed up the store with a buy one game get one free (you could grab all the games offered and remove the paid game and still pay $0 for the 10 added games). None of those were removed/blacklisted.

        I find it unlikely they will delete anything. Earlier they had a bug where you could buy around 7 or 8 games for $0.0, this was on the Australian origin store. They never removed them or did anything. Everyone who got those games still has them without any trouble.

          i did both, one account is fake and it worked (added it to other free games from origin) and then i tried using my AU account, it just wanted US and different state. Seems to have worked there too.

          Fnd the .exe file in the Origin folder under program files, then create a shortcut to the desktop. I just lauched the file with that account signed in and it worked fine.

      you can, this is how it is done:
      1. use the link to the us origin store at the top
      2. log into your regular origin account using the login button at the top of th eus store.
      3. select your game and add to cart, see the list of games in one of the replies here.
      4. add the code and the balance will change to $0.0
      5 then when doing the ordering part it will ask for a US or Canadian address, here you can just use a fake address.
      6. you'll then get a confirmation email of the order.

      click the ozbargain link, in the deal, not the origin.com hyperlink in the text. add the game you want to the cart, apply the code and go to checkout. the code will only work for US/Canadian addressed accounts (country and state etc need to be correct)

    Alright guys, just "bought" NFS: Hot Pursuit

    This is what you do:
    1. Find the game (on the AMERICAN Origin site), add it to your cart
    2. Apply the code shown on top in the code section and click submit
    3. Chuck in your details, (email can be fake, but make sure you actually remember it! because you'll need it to login into the origin client - just like you do on steam) - I used fakenamegenerator and put in US Locations etc
    4. After submitting all your details you should get a confirmation screen that everything went well
    5. Download the origin client, install, and login with your email addy and password you provided earlier
    6. Go to 'My Games' at the top and you'll see your game there, now all you gotta do is download!

        You're buying a game from the US origin store. To complete the process you need a US address for billing (even if it is $0). Your actual origin accounts 'location' doesn't matter - as long as you have logged in with it.
