I got a couple of pairs of these for my kids to use on a recent long haul flight (not going to spend hundreds on something that could be trashed). I tried them myself and was very impressed with them. Think I might pick up another couple as spares.

  • How is the microphone on this for taking calls?

This or the Sony WH-1000XM5? LOL

    • Depends. I got a pair of Lenovo TH40 ANC ($40 on AliExpress) and before that Bludio T5 ANC for about the same. A lot of these probably go 85% of the way to the $300 noise canceling headphones.

So it depends on whether the difference in price makes a difference to you. If it means you can't sleep on flights then go for the expensive pair.

I've been looking for a pair to use as earmuffs for using light tools, lawnmower etc. These should do the job

  • Anyone have these? Are they on-ear or over-ear?

The description says "Over-ear comfort ear cushioning", but measuring on my screen and comparing with the dimensions they give, the space inside the earcups seems to be only 40mm tall.

    • True for people with big ears.

My older bludio T5s had round over the ear so it was a lot more space. My new Lenovo TH40 have egg shaped ear pads so people with wider ears might have issues.

  • Anyone knows whether this can be connected to 2 devices at a time?

  • You might be better off getting the TH40 headphones for $17 delivered if you're just after a cheap throw around pair
