Update: went with the Asus TUF A15, amazing deal atm for only $1199
Good evening, I’m thinking between the two laptops please help me to decide. Any advice would be appreciated.

The Asus is the superior gaming machine if the RTX 4060 TDP is 140w (which would include the boost capability). I had a quick look for the TDP of the RTX 4060 in the Nitro model you posted as I couldn't find it but based on the previous Nitro models with the RTX 3060 GPU, they had quite a low TDP (85w later upgraded to 95w via a BIOS update plus boost). The Acer Helios models had the higher TDP GPUs.
IIRC, there was a JarrodsTech video which showed the laptop 4060 doesn't draw over ~100W even with a higher specified TDP
I would go Asus regardless though, both are budget models but my experience is Asus TUF is better quality over Acer Nitro

I'd go with the Asus.
Specs are slightly better. Screen is better but nether is great. Better build quality. Should run cooler.
