I'm curious but who still use this in 2023 ? You can find a 500gb portable ssd for around $50 - $60 nowadays - it is just as small and even faster

    • I use a 256GB one as it's smaller than a portable SSD and doesn't require an additional cable. The USB cable for a portable SSD takes up more space than this.

I also have a portable SSD (both the M.2 and prebuilt Samsung T7 varieties) but they're usually left at home as they take up too much space for something I don't use every day.

You can throw this in your pocket and forget about it. Not so much with a m2/ssd and the cable.

    • Any recommendation for a portable ssd at mentioned price range? Thanks in advance

    • These are really good to use instead of SD cards to run a raspberry pi on, far more durable and reliable.

  • Officeworks don’t price match back orders plus you need to add shipping costs

  • The 256gb version is showing as $88, cheaper than the 'normal' $91 price of the 128gb?

  • https://amzn.asia/d/avN4Reh Kingston Datatraveler Max 256GB $59

  • ESD310 makes a better bootable USB
