Same. Its a great deal no doubt. But would want to suck more than just the dirt from my floor for $2K…
On the same bandwagon. I got the s5 Max for around the $500 mark 4 years ago. While the auto empty feature would be great, I don't think there is enough in the device to justify the price tag.
Max I'd be willing to pay for a device like this one would be around the $1k mark. I don't know how roborock are selling a lot of units at this price.
Like it's a good deal in terms of savings. Just not sure how to justify the spend when there are alternatives.

It’s a refurb, but functions and looks like its brand new
I still got a 2 year warranty when I registered it with Roborock, however - they may not accept it as Reebelo isn’t a roborock reseller. So, still a roll of the dice.
Reebelo offers their own 1 year warranty.But been using it for 2 weeks daily and it hasn't missed a beat.

Like double the price of other brands and not twice as good.
I bought the S8+ yesterday from Godfrey's for $1140. No way is this worth the $1k more.
Was that a sale they were running or just an instore negotiation? It's listed at $1899 there now.

I got lucky getting one though. They were showing no stock available nationwide online. I was at a Westfields here in Brissy before Xmas Day and thought I'd just go into Godfreys and ask if they had one by chance. They didnt, but I learnt their inventory system only shows stock as available if a store holds 3+ of the item. So a few stores were showing a holding of two, which means the demo plus one. I put down a deposit and they got one delivered to them that evening for me to pickup.
Robot vacuums sure are expensive these days. I still use the Xiaomi Mi, 1st gen and hasn't missed a beat after 6 years of service. I bought the Viomi S9 a couple of years ago and had nothing but problems with it.
Really want this vacuum but mentally want to buy this at $2K or less (incl. CB).
Time will tell whether that is realistic or not, come boxing day.
I was able to get it at that price on black friday with Bing Lee 10pct off and 8ct cashback, it came to approx 2k. You will hopefully be able to get it again in boxing day at that price. Worth the wait
