Err.. do you need to provide any proof that you qualify?

    • Nope. Just have to use the coupon code. Works fine.

  • $798 after discount… Not sure if this is really a brilliant deal? i5, 128SSD, 4gb ram, intel 3000 graphics.

  • Is this code only for ultrabooks or other things as well?

The Dell Outlet usually gives better deals than this.

Was I the only one to read the heading wrong and think they were selling it for $300?

Mod: Title fixed. Vote revoked. Use the report button in future

    • don't worry, bym. you're not alone.

    • That's why I thought it had expired - thought it was ozbargained.

  • this title is misleading totally
i tried to neg but cant since i clicked on +

    • I took it to mean $300 discount without thinking twice!

  • when you apply the discount the description specifically states it is the XPS 13, I tried applying it on another XPS system and it did not work.

  • isnt this second gen intel processors? the ones that are being replaced by the newer 3 gen intel processors?

    • They are 2nd gen, clicking the link reveals this information.

  • Sorry, maybe I don't understand.

The deal is for $300 off of XPS 13 notebooks. I've tried the code and it works. So what's the issue here?

    • They were upset that the word "off" was missing from the original post title. Hardly neg worthy IMO, suggest the OP changes the title and not bother negging or plusing!

      • Alright.

Note for others: Negative voting a deal because of an incorrect title is an invalid use of a negative vote. You can hit the report button or a power user can fix up the title. Votes should be used for the deal itself.

        See voting guidelines.

Overprice in my opinion, even after applying the discount.

  • Will there be more deals on ultrabooks? need one desperately

    • Can you wait a week?

I can feel it in my waters that something big is happening next week…. and maybe, just maybe, retailers might be offering yet another round of specials to celebrate.

  • At $799 it's cheaper than the equivalent XPS 13's (new) being cleared at the Dell Outlet for $892…

    http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/topics/segtopic.aspx/product…

  • I decided to place an order as the new generation xps 13 will be priced at the full recommended retail price for quite some time and I doubt that will be huge difference in performance.
