Acer Nitro V 15.6-inch i9-13900H/32GB/1TB/RTX4050 $1598 & 10% Back as GC + Delivery ($0 C&C/in-Store) @ Harvey Norman

Repeat of @Scrooge McDeal's deal now with a $158 gift card.
This is not a really balanced CPU for the GPU for gaming, and the 13900H has the same number of cores as the i7 13700H (6P/8E) and has less cores/is not unlocked like the -HK i7/i9's, but if you're after a machine with high single thread performance, upgradable ram and with a non-onboard GPU of some sort, for instance, using Revit on the go, this might be right up your alley. The screen colour accuracy is not great and neither is the colour gamut. Contemplated a Legion Pro 5i but those are several hundred more (cheapest one currently has i7 13700HK, RTX4060, 16GB ram and 1TB SSD for $2k, but ultimately I couldn't be bothered waiting for a Lenovo cashback to come around again).
Binglee had it for $1488 for a while as an order in item, decided to sit on it overnight and its been out of stock since and now it's $1588. Ah the bargains we miss.

  • I will wait for the $1199 4060 laptop.

We will be waiting for a while, amd 7600s rigs arent price competitive down here, and 40 gen being refreshes in 24’ means no push from retailers to clear this years stock.

This one has 100% srgb screen i think. Overall better than the 4060 BingLee deal if playing cpu intensive game or doing workload that depend more on cpu. Wouldnt buying this for gaming tho.

Nitro V is not a true gaming laptop and will not be a good gaming laptop. It's an upsized Aspire.

Both 4050 and 13900H are extremely underpowered in this machine, thanks for the cooling solution wholly not built for the specs here. The actual performance will be far below what the specs may seem as.

Screen is also NOT 100% srgb, laptopmedia's unit covered only 56% srgb. The panel is likely a 45% ntsc one and the lack of any real calibrating on this screen means even worse srgb values.

Folks looking to get a well rounded budget gaming laptop should opt for the LOQ with a 7640HS (that's not grasping for cooling), 4050 (can actually reach the nominal ~100w), and a QHD 165hz screen. Currently going for 1529$ and stackable with cashrewards 13% cashback.

    • Whats your thought's on this LOQ vs the legion pro 5i with an i7 amd 4060 for $1999 + 13% cashback

If you have the money, L5P for certain. Its about 70$ cheaper than the last time I posted it for with the amd aku.
