Lubluelu SL60D is $259 delivered @ eBay, looks & performs about the same. I have one & it's brilliant. We haven't used our Dyson stick vac since got it.

    • Can I ask the input voltage range on the base station please? Is it’s 100-240v or just 240?
      Thank you!

      • How do I work that out?

        • Thank you for considering it.
On the part that connects to the wall plug is often a little set of figures- “input voltage” and then a part for “output voltage”.
The input voltage is useful to know if it will work overseas without much hassle.
Many devices that charge other things- drills/tools, electric toothbrushes etc can take a wide range of voltages.

    • From the image on ebay, the lubluelu even comes with a dock charger which the ecovacs doesn't.
I wonder how it work with a rug half covered room.

Yes it does, after cleaning it automatically re-docks and charges. You can buy an auto empty bin as well, which I'm considering, given how quickly it fills up the onboard one (because it's so damn effective, even on regular suction level).

It was $209 recently but got Ozbargained after a while. Plenty of useful info in the comments too.

    • This is tempting - wondering if anyone else has experience with these with mostly carpet / rug households?

      • Pretty good. Does a good job of my rig and also the carpet in the bedrooms.

    • Amazing piece of machine! Their after sales support is amazing too! Cannot recommend them high enough. Easy transaction from their website!

    • Great to know as in the market for my first robot.
There’s also a auto empty station sad right now. Do you have it? How useful is that you reckon?

      • Just bought one, awaiting delivery. I'd say useful as we have a large house & the robot takes about an hour to clean it, and the dust bin is either full or almost full after each full run, this will mean I don't have to empty it each time.

  • Do these things go from vacuuming carpet to mopping floor on same run?

    • nope

  • I’ve got hardwood floors, does the mopping function soak the floors??

I’ve been using a Miele vacuum, and the Sabco SwishSpray mop

    • I'm interested to know this too, have same microfibre mop for bamboo floors…

Was going to get the Yeedi Cube from Boxing Day deal, but hesitated too long on it…

    • I've the T8 model and the mop function (with agitator attachment) does an ok job on tiles, however I wouldn't say it's a replacement for a proper manual mop.
Also, to answer your question re: water, it only drops enough to keep the cleaning pad wet, so I've never felt like it soaks floors too much.

  • I have this one. Always loses base station location forcing remap of the home. Mapping is such a pain.

When it works it vacuums good. But I have to map like 3-4 times a year.

My deebot neo does this too. Make sure the dock is always in the same spot and that obstacles aren't in the way while cleaning to avoid this (obstacles cause it to lose traction and skews the map.)

Most of the time I can restore the map by turning the machine off, move it to another room that's away from the dock and turn it back on.

      • I find returning to the base station, starting a clean and then manually sending back to the station after 5 seconds usually fixes, but still very frustrating robovac.

It wasnt really highlighted in the reviews prior to purchasing.
