Best deal I've seen for a long time on Castrol Edge 5W-30. Just over 42% off the normal price of $70. I'm definitely going down to snag myself a couple of bottles.

20% off storewide as well, with all the usual exclusions.

      Unless it's not the right one, but I'm sure it's the same. It just so happens that 20% off the catalogue price brings it down to $40 which is why I thought they were doing 20% off catalogue items.

      Fairly certain they don't - have tried to use the NRMA card before and see if I can get extra discounts on top but the system won't apply that discount on top so this deal doesn't really exist…

      Which deal doesn't exist? The oil deal certainly exists (I didn't make that little jpeg up;)), and the 20% off certainly exists as well. Unless that email I received from Repco is an elaborate hoax.

      I'd go a bike specific oil, with manufacturer recommended weight.

  Castrol lube guide says you can use Edge 5W-30 or Edge 0W-40.
  
  If it was my car I would try the 5W-30, and if it started consuming a lot of oil I would move up to the 0W-40.
  
  If you're using the car for track days/high revving, I would only use the 0W-40. For general driving, with a traffic light grand prix every now and then, the 5W-30 will be fine….

Is there a expire date for full synth oil ?

Not sure how many should I buy as it is supposed to 1 year for interval oil change
of full synth oil ?

Springwood QLD was well and truly Ozbargained yesterday by the time I got there. Oh well, just got a bottle of Magnatec 5W-30, because it's a Corolla and the last oil change (Edge) was a waste on the car.

On the topic of oil, does anyone know where to get 0W-20 weighting oil? Need some for my 86 :)
