So 2 of the 6 ports are mains AC sockets? Maybe it should say 4 port USB charger in the title instead?

      All GaN GoNe

  • Got this, getting quite hot whenever fast charging multiple devices

I got this too. Ordered another. It's the best charger I've had.
GaN is supposed to be able to higher operating temperatures and the charger is supposed to have protections to keep it within operating range. Usually controllers themselves implement current/overload protections - so unless you notice the charger throttling the output with elevated temps, it's usually fine.

Also, even laptop chargers get quite hot when delivering 100w. Since they have a larger surface area, it gets spread out.

    • Mine gets very warm even when drawing minimal power from it like 10w. When nothing connects it is normal

It's a great travel charger too. You just need one converter and you can charge USB devices and also run a power board for other devices from it.

      • +1

Better off running this charger off the power board than vice versa if you're using a travel router, or anything else that needs a constant power supply. As GaN chargers re-negotiate the power supply to ALL devices when any device is connected or disconnected this causes a short outage to all devices each time you plug/unplug something.

  • Anyone got what they ordered from this company?

They sent me an email on the 6th of January that my order has shipped and I have asked twice about the tracking number and they keep coming back with:

"As all our stock are in Amazon warehouse and they help us fulfil our orders. Normally, it takes 5-10 business days to dispatch orders. "

    • No I’ve not received mine either, it was supposedly shipped on the 5th.

      • Hi Davidr,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.

Our merchandise and supplies are under common control and storing at Amazon warehouse despite the various online platforms where they are displayed. Hence there might be a slight delay in processing requests coming from other sites (other than Amazon) especially on the sales items. Our initial email confirmation is to advise that your order has been received and looked after at the next available turn. We apologise for any confusion and will note your feedback for our future order notices.

We will provide you with a tracking number shortly when the item is dispatched from the warehouse.

        Best regards,
        MM
