Slightly cheaper via their ebay store with code SAVA8. Came out to $689.08 not that i'm buying for this price - want it for what it was in Dec!

Honestly, this or the Gen5 Detect Absolute Stick Vacuum? we are looking to upgrade from the V6

    • Looking at the same upgrade

      • right? it's a lot of money regardless imo. the gap between keeping what i have and $700 is a whole lot more than spending the extra for a better and newer vac if it's genuinely worth it from a real user's POV rather than general marketing.

I purchased a V10 in late 2022, it had a bunch of issues and I ended up sending it in for a refund at the end of last year.

After this I splurged and got the Gen5 Detect, and can say so far it has been worth the extra money. The laser optic head shows dust you didn't even know was there (and makes you feel as though your house is never clean :)), and the motorbar head that comes with the Gen5 coupled with the auto-detect feature is far superior to that of the V10.

With the V10 I would find that it would push some of the bigger pieces of dirt and dust around, but I have none of that with the Gen5, it gets most things first pass. Happy to answer any questions you have - feel free to shoot me a DM.

genuinely, this was more helpful than you realise. thanks heaps for your input.

        • At max power the V10 has 150AW of suction, the Gen5 has 280AW.

  • how does this compare to miele hand held vacuums (triflex) ??
