Very good points. Always a trap for the unwary.
These flash cards are listed under Computer IT
ie. Home > Products > Computer IT > Flash Memory > KINGSTON 8GB SD CARD SDHC
You sure they form part of the 3 ship free promo?
add 3 to your cart, enter your post code and it will appear "Delivery & Handling: FREE". they are also listed under "Digital Camera" and that's why the promo applies to them too.
Why is the computer IT products always exempt from the free postage?
Because of the super low margins in the Computer IT products market? I thought that was pretty obvious.
How fast are Shopping Square at delivery? I'm leaving overseas on the 13th!
pretty good prices, but i wish they were for micro SDs
good offer but I do not need 3 SD cards.
checked their other goods - do not really need any at the moment.

You can always do a RAID5 on 3 SDHC cards :)
b4 buying SD/SDHC card remember to check the correct data transfer rate. It's quite common to get 6-speed SDHC card these days, whereas shoppingsquare is selling legacy/4-speed SDHC card.
more info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital_card#SDHC
The Kingston 8Gb is 6-speed: http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/p_1499_KINGSTON_8GB_SD_CARD…
From wikipedia
SDHC cards have SD Speed Class Ratings defined by the SD Association. The SD Speed Class Ratings specify the following minimum write speeds based on "the best fragmented state where no memory unit is occupied":[19]
The deal is still on. Just got email from Shoppingsquare stating the free shipping deal has been extended Offer MUST end at 23:59 , 1st Dec 2008 Could someone please change the expiry date?
thanks. i updated the expiry date.
I paid $20ish for one from Kmart, and I thought that was ok haha
My order is still in "processing" as of today.
Remember if your getting the SDHC card, make sure your device is compatible with them!!
Ive made this mistake myself before, as have some friends I know.
So yeah, make sure your device is compatible with the new SDHC cards first, will save you from buying something you cant use :)
If you are getting a digital camera, then check this link out for digital camera compatibility:

(note its from US, so models may differ a little bit)
