I got screwed over and got a free upsize on any boxed meal. This one suck ass. The double burger and Zinger Crunch Combo are far superior to mine.

@InsertCrow: Who actually uses the free upsize. A larger drink and fries isn't worth imo when I'm going to spend a minimum of $13.50. From what I can tell the best offer is a Zinger box. One Zinger Burger, 3 Wicked WIngs, small Mashed Potatoes and gravy, and a large fries and drink for $13.50. It's far better than a Mcdonald's full priced QP meal. I've now realised that KFC is the cheaper than McDonalds now.

@tekisei: Oh that hack, I always use that for the 5 tenders and can get 20% off through a mate which isn't bad at all, one time they processed a cash refund after I had done one of those orders and they didn't have tenders, didn't realize until I got home they had actually given me the cash for the full priced item. Safe to say KFC owes me money from not giving me 10 minutes breaks so I'll take what I can
@lookingforadeal7: I probably wouldn't use the hack at all if my local (NSW) didn't do Hot and Spicy all year round. Original is always too oily for me, and tenders are like usually so small not worth.
@tekisei: Yeah I only eat tenders and wicked wings just due to how the different cuts of meat looked when I worked there and they're usually a lot fresher. Original recipe and especially hot and spicy can be sitting in the warmer for 4 hours before you get it and it's really not that uncommon. There's time tags and it's meant to be thrown out but if stores threw out what they were meant to an average store would throw something like 5-10 chickens of meat away a day and that's being generous.
@lookingforadeal7: You're right on the Hot and Spicy, usually it's a 50/50 chance for me to get really dried out chicken (and dead coating/skin). But the other half of the time I get amazing texture and flavour out of a fresh one (literally up there with the best fried chickens) so I'm willing to gamble haha.
@Goose93: I'm in Sydney so there's only 8 KFCs which do Hot and Spicy year round, mostly in the north.

Nah they are pretty strict, only managers get a free meal on shift. I used to work for them as a cook and would just throw some fresh tenders in a napkin and run out the back and eat them. I ended up being caught but they just said whatever knowing it'd be hard to replace me.

The fill up box seems like the best value deal. First two times they accidentally gave me extras - a snack popcorn chicken and a second slider. Good times.
