    I bought the 'Good Food Restaurant Gift Card' on another deal and it works well for drinks at my local.
    I just did a test run of 'this' deal and it seems that I can make a purchase of a number of these cards in the one transaction. EG 4 x $50 Good Food Restaurant Gift Cards. Which, for me is better than carrying 1 x $200 and losing it.
    $3,000 per customer seems extremely generous.

      The TCN website says that Good Food gift cards work at merchants categorised as “Eating Places” and “Drinking Places” (and that should correspond with MCCs 5812 and 5813, respectively). Multiple reports on OzBargain (including in this recent deal) also indicates that TCN does not merely restrict the gift card to the ones on the restaurant directory on https://goodfood.gift.

      Having said that, physical Good Food gift card do not work at all merchants using MCCs 5812 and 5813. For example:

      • The Good Food gift card in this deal operates on the eftpos network, so you cannot use it for card-not-present purchases (e.g. paying for an order through a restaurant’s website).

      • The terms and conditions states that TCN will decline all transactions at any merchants categorised as Fast Food Restaurants (i.e. MCC 5814). This is enforced for both the digital and physical versions.

      • A merchant using Square EFTPOS terminals will not be able to accept the Good Food gift cards in this deal, because Square refuses to process payments over the eftpos network if the card was swiped. The only way you can redeem a physical Good Food gift card at a merchant is by swiping it on the EFTPOS terminal…

      • A merchant may choose to stop you if they see you are wanting to use a prepaid eftpos gift card as a payment method (as this person once found out the hard way). In my experience, I had one restaurant accept my prepaid eftpos gift card at one visit, but at a later visit, the EFTPOS terminal said that my payment method was not accepted. The staff member mentioned that the owner apparently was not comfortable with people using prepaid gift cards, because it was more likely to be fraudulent, so the owner went to the effort of contacting Commonwealth Bank (their EFTPOS provider) to get them to block prepaid eftpos gift cards!

      Also can I convert the physical card to digital like the restaurant gift card?

      I have not been able to find a way to do this on the Good Food website, and after searching through multiple Good Food gift card deals on OzBargain, it looks like no one else has been able to find a way either.

    Does the good food GC still works with the code? It says isn't valid anymore.

    But Shop GC still applies.

      I just went onto https://card.gift/, added a physical Good Food gift card to my cart and was able to apply the coupon code and get the 10% discount.
