      Yeah, its a pretty cool kit but its very niche. Just saw a review and the wingspan is huge.

        True. Engineering feast is nothing to scoff at but not very much modular design for the interiors. Also shelf space is definitely an issue.

    I ordered this yesterday morning along with a few other sets from Kmart online.
    The update email I received today said that the other sets are ready to ship and the Ornithopter is pending.
    I am expecting it to be cancelled and refunded shortly based on my previous 3 Kmart lego orders being cancelled recently due to not stock.

      It's been more successful with onepass I've found. They maybe applying a prioritisation.

          If it's retired, it's retired. Unless you intend to scalp it I don't see why it matters.

          If you really wanted it for cheap you can always go for second hand built ones or just wait for a bit as Dune 2 is coming out soon and depending on its success we may or may not see more prints of this model. But until then HODL.

          Don't put FOMO in this mate.

          It was dropping all the way down to $150 after the original price gouging. Everyone thought it was going to be another Lego Voltron but it didn't.
