Where did you get the offer from ?

  • I'm still trying to get my free DVD off Quickflix as part of that Scoopon deal they had earlier this year

  • I activated a free offer recently. It only included old movies you had to pay for new releases. I wonder if this is the same.

    • No. That is not the case. I had the promo for 6 weeks thing for AGL and it worked fine. I was able to rent 3D blue rays.
Suspending or cancelling is online and their service is quite good.

  • Be wary of Quickflix, I had the devil of a time getting them to cancel the 'free' trial I was given a couple of years ago. They do not make withdrawal from the service anywhere near as easy as signup! :s

    • +2

      better now.

during promo period you can cancel via account page online. after promo period you have to call them. i'm with them now… very happy.

(actually signed up on last promo here from ozbargain- 6 weeks free or something)

      • Cheers, that's good to hear…I remember waiting on the phone for ages to 'explain' why I wanted out back in the day! ;)

  • Not being a regular BP user, can someone advise if their gift cards can be used on fuel? So you could buy a $20 gift card when filling up (or a $90 card for the fuel guzzling falcon I have), then use it next time to pay for the fuel - or even cheekier use the gift card at same time as filling up the first time? Or is it gift cards spent on telecommunications only?
Edit: seems cards can be used as cash in BP stores, so Im assuming for fuel too.

Cant see info on the Aus BP site, however if you do enter then yopu might as well do this too:
    http://bppromos.com.au/about.aspx and win $100,000 ?

  • Yes I have a BP Card. You can use it for anything in store, including fuel.
There may be some exclusions, but I am not aware of any.
    But fuel, definitely yes!!!

BTW, where has the rep vanished after posting ?
How do we redeem the bloody thing ?
Is it for new members or existing also ?

Don't suppose Quickflix have many regular paying members, just quietly.

    • I did pay for a month after my 6 weeks trial. Search for code in a previous deal with AGL and use it while making a new user.
They are quite good and after I had watched most of 3D movies, I have suspended the account for a month. Not getting time now to watch on weekends.
But I suppose many people are using their service. A big + from me.
