Just bought this from Big W today and activated it, but found this is $20 cheaper. Please note, you need to buy ink and paper separately.

  • The Ozbargainer would think about buying from Amazon and return it to BigW if the box is identical….

    • I got the black one from Big W while the sale from Amazon is only on white….

Simple: paint the white one black then…?
        XD

A true ozbargainer would just print photos at <5c/pc at their local Kmart :)

A true ozbargainer would spend $100 on a digital photo frame so they wouldn't need to spend $0.05 on printing photos :)

A truest OzBargainer would spend $0 and just view those photos on the same phone that they use to browse OzBargain.

  • I got a cp1500 in jan and been watching film price since then to buy a few more packs but it doesn’t seem to really go on special (under 40 at a mainstream source)

    • What's the going rate? And how do you find the printer?

      • About 40 , most of the time not including freight
Really was hoping to see sub 35 to grab 2-3 packs.

It’s a little slow but happy with the quality of prints… realistically you might be better off sticking to batch printing at Kmart or similar if you have a heap to do. My kids love to pick out some photos once a week and add to little scrapbook.

Very easy to use - my misso is not very techy and was printing within seconds and no manual reading.
I think it could be cool for live event printing, even if people just use a decent smart phone.

  • This or HP Sprocket?

    • Hmmm, from what I can see, the equivalent to this is the HP Sprocket Studio Plus (6x4 prints). Although it doesn't look like it's widely available here, plus it's quite a bit more expensive.
So I'd say this one I reckon :)
