Might be a cheap price on this multi cooker, Aldi currently has a model with smaller capacity less functions but wondering how the two compared. From reviews I can see the insert pot isn't great quality on this so maybe worth looking into a replacement for that.

I use this weekly bloody top model

    • Is the insert fine?

      • Ive had no issues, My work mate has had issues with it pealing but he uses a dishwasher to clean his where i hand wash.

        • Oh that might be it then, I noticed all my pans started lasting a lot longer since I don't have a dishwasher anymore, might grab this one then considering I have no oven, is it a decent alternative?

@lookingforadeal7: Ehhhh I don’t know to be honest. I’ve used mine to cook rice. Slow cook stuff. Sauté stuff and pressure cook never really used it as an oven.

            • @CHUNCKYMCFAT: Should be sweet then I can just slow cook or pressure cook everything, need something other than an air fryer and deep fryer.

    • Yeah this is where I originally found it but they don't have best reviews so thought Amazon CS would at least be better to deal with and assumed their free delivery spend would apply but unfortunately not. I'm just hoping it's the version advertised and not the 6L version of same brand.

      • Clever. Didn't think of that.

        • Dimensions and Wattage match up with the correct version on the website though so should be okay, also saw someone say it's really 6.5l capacity once you fill it to the max line

        • I'll probably take the risk because I need one anyway and seems like a good price

          • @lookingforadeal7: My clever comment was referring more to the chance of Vic's CS being crappy. Didn't think of that and ordered from there. Here's to hoping that all that ends up happening is that I make delicious meals!

            • @amitos: Yeah they have mixed reviews so should be fine, hopefully. I saw this was discounted at Myer for $140 and it cleared out at that price.

  • Look at the reviews, this looks garbage.

Lifesaver! My CrockPot just shat itself last week, 2 years and 2 days after purchase.. 😡

    • Nice I would recommend when receiving it just to make sure it's not the smaller version and also pay extra attention on the first few cooks to make sure everything is sealed etc. and hand wash instead of throw it in the dish washer.

      • Yoo, I read that in the earlier comments, thanks for the reminder, telling the old man now.. 😅

  • The one Aldi does deep frying, does this do too?
