Wait for the Nexus 4 son!!

  • +5

definitely not cheap enough to warrant jumping on it when the nexus 4 has a 399 price tag. Depends how much expandable mem is worth to you I guess

  • +7

WOW $318 bucks for a refurb Galaxy S2, bargain!!!! sarcasm

  • -1

Yeah, this is a bad deal. I don't neg very often but this "deal" has it coming.

  • +3

Hey chapstickz, it seems you forgot to mention a few other details of this G8 deal…
That's the names of the people assembled this phone, made in details, transported via air or water etc.
Hope next time you make an attractive deal with real stuff !

  • Given the imminent arrival of the Nexus 4 this does need to be cheaper.

Having said that, the S2 is still a very capable and fast phone. There's nothing really that the Nexus 4 can do that the S2 can't - it's just faster and bigger. In fact the S2 still rocks the microSD slot for extra storage =)

    • +5

Sorry that's not entirely accurate. There are many differences in the software (Nexus 4 will run 4.2). Nexus 4 also has NFC, extra 1G ram, inductive charging, barometer etc.

  • WOW!!! ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the specs are listed :). I like to see all the info I need in the title. Price??

  • i cracked my S2 screen and am looking at $250 to get the screen replaced……

  • The attacks on this new poster are disgusting. Use the report button if the price is not in the title and do not attack people for posting a deal.

    • +1

      i agree :D
no wonder people don't want to post..

      btw how come i can't + you
u have nothing next to you

      • Neil is a mod mate! ;)

When the moderator tag is on, you can't vote up or down the comment as it's usually an important comment,in this case one that I hate making but needs to be made. I've switched it off for this comment.

        • thanks for switching it off ;D
          + you here instead

  • LOL. For a refurbished unit at this price just when nexus 4 is coming, this deal is dead in the water. Wouldn't get this even if it was brand new.

  • +2

Meh. Not at this price. There is a new cycle of phones coming out soon, if it was brand new it might be an ok deal. However, refurbished? No.

I own a s2 and it is an awesome phone but the is no way in hell that it is worth $318 now. Sad but true.

  • -2

Technically, this is a bargain. The general rule of thumb is not to compare to deals that have expired or future deals. Rough price on eBay for a reasonable condition Galaxy S2 is about $250(ish) and this will come with a decent warranty and worth the extra expense IMHO.
Good spotting OP, keep it up! :)

    • You would pay 27% more for "decent warranty"? You can get a brand new Nexus 4 16GB for $349, which is better than the S2 in every way.
