New loungewear made from botanic fibres
We’re bringing even more comfort to Business Class with soft sleepwear sets on long‑haul flights. The new loungewear is made from modal ‑ a premium, breathable fabric made using botanic fibres. They come in two sizes in a drawstring pouch that you can take home with you. Starting December 2023 on selected routes, we're introducing comfy slippers and an eye mask made from the same modal fabric. Available on selected routes depending on flight duration, aircraft type, model and configuration.

  • Shut up and take my money!

    • Its free you just need to book a ticket.

  • What’s the deal tho?!

    • +6

the deal is you get free face cream and jim-jams if you buy a $9000 ticket on the plane.

    Where is the deal?

  • I suppose the free ride is new but I'm sure they provide the slippers and stuff usually.

  • One day when I save enough money from OzBargain deals that I can afford business class Cries inside

Don't do it, you won't want to go back with those….other people afterwards.

  • Does this include Qantas award redemptions?

    • It used to be about 5 years ago but no longer.

  • Emirates had chauffeured drives to and from departure and destination airport in business class for many years now.

I like Modal. But cheaper to buy on its own. ;)

  • The PJs are new, the other stuff not so much.

    PJs are very nice incidentally.

If people are interested in flying business or first class on Emirates with Qantas points then the best option is probably Dubai to Sydney.

We managed to get Business/First class tickets with Qantas points for November, on the same flight. It required us to be flexible about dates and look at a lot of options.

As an example, currently, on the 13th of February.
If you are a couple you can get
two business class tickets for 119,000 points and $1226 each or
One First Class for 170,800 points and $1226 and one business class for 119,000 points and $1226

If people are flipping credit cards this should be possible. We managed to build up points over about three years without flipping cards.

We are flying into Dubai in economy from Vienna. It is only 6 hours.

    • Only took 1.5yrs to accumulate 300k points and gave not flipped credit cards. Not worth messing with my credit rating.

      Emirates fees are so high.

      • They are high but they are still cheap compared to paying for a business or first class ticket. In our case we also accumulate points with Flybuys. We are flying two business class tickets from
Melbourne to Paris. The Velocity points did have lower fees too.

Anyone want cheap business class then book back to Australia from somewhere cheap like Cairo, Colombo, Cape Town etc.
