Bit of a niche one for Fuji GFX cameras, but a good deal on the GF20-35mm at digidirect. 3% cash rewards at the moment as well takes another $102 off bringing it under $3300 (cash rewards ends today 4th March).

0.95% surcharge on card, PayPal, WeChatPay, AliPay & UnionPay payments.

RRP at around $3999, some other sales at $3550. Aus stock.

No cashback from Fuji at the moment but I think this wasn't included in the cashback earlier in the year anyway.

  • F4…..

    • F/4 is fast enough for 33*44mm medium format. Maybe one day they can make a f/3.5 without the monstrous size.

      • depends on your definition for fast enough, it's roughly equivalent to f/3.2 in full frame terms.

even their quickest lenses only "max out" at f/1.7 which is equivalent to f/1.36.

        • Can use something like the mitakon 65mm F1.4 to get around F1-1.1

  • What makes a lens like this.. THAT expensive?

Medium format, everything is bigger and more expensive. Bigger sensor, bigger lens mount, not as many produced. Made for 50mp and 100mp medium format cameras.

    • it's about standard, even F2.8 Zooms for full frame are about 3k

8.95$ for delivery? Sorry no deal!

  • These cropped medium format cameras are firmly in the realm of diminishing returns when compared to full frame. The benefit is marginal for much higher prices, weight, limited lens selection, speed etc. If they were full 645 sensor size maybe the image quality difference would be more pronounced. Saying that the new GFX100 II is one sexy camera, but for $12k you can sure get a lot of great full frame gear instead.

  • Not a bad deal; however best to be stacked with a Fujifilm cashback if you can wait…
