3 x $50 Free Driving Credit at Uber Carshare (Existing Borrowers)

90

Received it this afternoon to my inbox from Uber Carshare.

Well despite the email, I don't see the first $50 credit in my account so far. Will wait a couple more days and see if it comes through otherwise will contact their support.

Update 12/03/2024: The first $50 credit has finally landed into my account (without getting in touch with Uber Carshare support).

Unlock $150 in value

Maybe it's an epic road trip up the coast with mates, or a top-down cruise with
that special someone, or maybe you’re making the move into a new place.

…That's three good reasons to need a Second Car this Easter holiday season.

But what's 3 good reasons without 3 great deals?
We're giving you $50 off your next three bookings this March and April.
That's $150 worth of credits for whatever you've got planned this Easter,
Anzac Day long weekend, or anything in between.

Here’s how it works:

⚫ We’ve already added a $50 credit to your account – all you have to do is book your next trip before 30 April!

⚪ Once you complete your next trip, we'll automatically add another $50 credit to your account

⚪ If you complete another trip, we’ll send you another $50 credit

Terms and conditions
Credit valid for trips starting between 08 March 2024 and 30 April 2024. Upon completion of the first trip, $50 driving credit will be added to your Carshare account (Second Driving Credit). no such luck for me

  • Are you covered by insurance as the driver with uber car share?

    • Yes, you're. All trips include basic damage and loss cover (but with some exclusions). You may find more information from here and maybe some from here too.

  • i wonder if you could do 2 x short trips to get the full $150 credit to be used for a longer 3rd one.

    • I don't think it would work like that. So once you get the first $50 credit, you will have to book a ride with them before 30 April 2024 (since the first credit is valid until this date only). When you do, that $50 credit or whatever credit your account holds (in case there is any existing credit) will be used automatically covering part or full cost of the trip depending on the number of hours/days you're booking. The second $50 credit will be added to your account after completion of the first trip and will be used for booking the second trip. Similarly, you get the third $50 credit after completion of the second trip and will be used for booking the third trip.

      Refer from here,
      8. The first Driving Credit is valid until 30 April 2024.
      9. All successful claimants will receive the Second Driving Credit and Third Driving Credit on their Uber Carshare member account to the Credit amount after completing their first and second trip respectively. The Credit will be applied in accordance with the Member Agreement, available at: https://www.ubercarshare.com/terms-of-use.
The Second Driving Credit will be valid for 30 days from grant date. Upon completion of the second booking, the Third Driving Credit will be added to your account. The Third Driving Credit will be valid for 30 days from grant date.

      • So yes I think we can?

        1. $50 credit balance
        2. Book first short trip today, cost $5, credit balance $45
        3. Receive $50 credit, credit balance $95
        4. Book second short trip, cost $5, credit balance $90
        5. Receive $50 credit, credit balance $140
        6. Book longer trip in to use the $140
    • Yes the credit rolls over. I got $54 in my account now. You won't get the full $150 for the 3rd trip though, it depends on the minimum charge, see example above.

Only 15 days left to use. Great deal!
