  • It's an EOL product, so they're probably just trying to shift old stock. Decent camera though.

Knowing i-Tech, most likely a price error.

    • Yeah they had a similar price error in 2018 on these axis cameras and they ended up refunding me.

  • Website says it is marked down from $270?

    • It was marked down to $270 for the space of about 5 minutes. PriceHipster said it was $981 24 hours ago.

A note for installers, this camera is 12 Volt, it is not POE, (power over ethernet)

    • Pretty sure POE can be 12V. The specs indicate can operate from "POE".

      • The AXIS P3248-LV camera is both 12vDC and POE (which is only 48V)

  • It's marked on the site as "No Longer Available"

  • Great price for a decent camera. Years of FW available even after EoL. Make sure to get -E model for outdoor installation.

    • Would this camera be OK outside under cover?

  • The video advertising for the p3268(might be the p3248 too, hard to tell) looks awesome.

On the page somewhere, it said in 2028 it'll be the final something, and then below it, it said 2029 for the end of something else software-related. I was only scan reading, but if you're interested in it, it might be worth seeing what's lost in 2028 and 2029. But for this price, even if you lost primary functionality after 4-5 yrs of use, it'd still probably end up being worth its value.

  • Back in stock but price increased to $349.00

  • I'm amazed they actually honored this deal. I finished installing my cameras today and they are great cameras. Thanks OP.

  • Was this an outdoor camera ? I held back because it wasn’t the LTE version.
