    • Yeah but it's not turbo!

      • $1.99 is the bar

        • +1

You're not wrong. Every AliExpress sale the "1 for US$1.99" sale becomes US$1.79 and US$1.49 ex GST. I've picked up dozens of cheap rechargeable handheld fans for a few Aussie dollars.

          • +2

@Clear: What's your limit for when a few becomes a bunch?

It seems hard to buy dozens (β‰₯24) for a few Aussie didgeridongos (<πŸͺƒ$20) when the cost price exceeds πŸͺƒ$2 each

      • Correct!
This has trademarked Air Jet air expansion technology.
        Take that dyson!!

    • $10 or $20 for the moist vision

      • -1

Please don't say "moist" in polite company

  • Can anyone vouch? lol

I have the black one. I use it in the office. I set it to level 2 speed (out of 5). Cools me down as I am always sweating and overheated. I turn it off after a bit as I cool down. Small enough to fit in bag. Stands up by itself. Solid build. I like how the blades aren’t as exposed.

      I recommend it.
      YMMV.

      • Sweating and overheated sounds like my Monday to Friday, I think you've sold me

    • Just used it for a whole day at a music event in 38 degree melb heat.
Legit going to bulk buy these for the next.

    • Yep have one for my sport to cool down.

Does the job, it's not AC cool but is enough of a cool breeze :)

  • used one of these for the kids and it was enough of a breeze to keep the kids happy
    plus, it's no exposed blades

    This almost made me JISU.

Thanks, got one to use when i travel to Malaysia and Singapore.

    • +1

Was over in Singapore recently. God you need it there 🀣 the humidity was intense

      • +2

        tell me about it.

I thought Malaysia was bad but Singapore is even worse.

literally im sweating even after having a cold shower LOL

  • +1

Bigger than iPhone 15's battery lol

  • +1

Anyone knows if the charging port is USB-C?

    • Yes. Based on the reviews I just read.

      • +1

Beat me to it lol. Was also wondering. Got one.

    • +1

In one of the reviews it says usb-c

      • One of the images shows a tiny barrel connector?
I grabbed one in Singapore, mostly unused now for the same reason.

  • Alternatively you can get the Xiaomi Qualitell Mini Handheld Fan for $9.99 with the free Kogan First trial. Smaller 1200mAh battery and only 3 modes.

    • +2

Or the Kmart one for nothing at most nearby rubbish bin. Just wipe off the soy sauce

    • I got one of these the other week and it's surprisingly good.

Why do I find this device so hilarious? Not saying it isn't good, but for some reason a portable, personal, jet powered fan seems funny A.F. to me! πŸ˜…

  • Ordered 1 Thanks πŸ™

  • Seems quite easy to clean just press the self clean button

  • +1

    OOS

    • +1

It isn't OOS, but the price has reverted to $31

  • Yep, back to $31.44 now

  • Thanks OP. Been meaning to get an evaporative cooler fan, this will do in the meantime.

  • No idea how i just managed to get one for 17.99

  • I prefer the Jennie or Rose models

  • -1

The link takes you to the 6000mAh model, $31.44 is not for the same fan it seems.

EDIT: I think the original post was typo'd

    • -1

Yeah, When looking into the orders it points to the 6000 one. See when it arrives. Cannot find the 4000 anymore on their site.

      • +1

        Mine arrived today. It’s 4000mAh

  • can anyone recommend a neck fan?

  • +3

Very good quality, so glad I ordered πŸ™

    • Mine doesn't get delivered until 26th. WA. Great to know good quality. USB-C?

      • +1

        Yeah. USB-C

    • +1

      It is.

I use it in my car and not turn on the air con to save on fuel lol

      • My car compressor died recently and it costs $1650 quoted to replace and install, the car itself prolly worth $2k… thank God we going into the cooler months, but you reckon come next summer this thing can help cool down while in car driving on a 35β€’ ++ days??
