I doubt it, they'll just expect you to recharge the 90 day plan at the normal price. So it's best to port out & back again.

It’s perfect for a primary number, you then have a second sim for the occasional use if you aren’t always covered by wifi. If we aren’t able to crack the something went wrong error as a community, obviously this won’t work so well.
I’ve had terrible experience with amaysim mobile data since the Optus data breach, wouldn’t use it if they paid me. Imagine dropping out in the middle of a zoom call and couldn’t get back for 30 minutes, had to basically make the session for free to retain the client.

The reality is, as much as we'd like to think otherwise, it's gonna be 30. All these ones are 30, it's always 30, i got one with them recently and it was 30 - so i think it's safe to assume that's what it is.

They actually updated the page and it says 30 days now instead of 90 in the first paragraph. Looks like it was a typo, it also said $20 instead of $89 before.
I got one mid last year and just activated it the other day with no issues. I think the only concern past 30 days is that the data inclusion may be reduced if its advertised with extra data.

Pity they dont do eSim. Good price and ill probably get it but need to get something urgently until this SIM will arrive.

30 days? 90 days? 24 months?
Looks like there's a bit missing from the online T&Cs which is present on the page that comes with the SIM.
The 30 days is the date you must activate by if you want to get the advertised inclusions. Beyond that they might change the amount of data etc.
The 24 months is the hard deadline after which the SIM won't activate at all.
Most likely means if there are any bonuses when you buy they might not be included after 30 days, however the sim will still activate up until 12 months.

I can't guarantee it but I've used Catch 90 day sims in USB modems all the time & they work fine.

Yes it works. You'll be a new customer of Catch Connect. I keep moving Coles Mobile to Catch Connect to Amaysim and I'm 'new' each time.
